So, my Camry pretty much died and I'm going to be getting a new car.  It's a 2 door Honda Civic that gets a very nice 40 mpg on the highways.  Should last me for a really long time.  Although as good as it is there are still some parts about this whole ordeal that really bug me.  If you wanna know ask, xanga isn't really the place for them.

I just realized that I can still recite the theme to Cartoon Planet completely from memory.  I'm happy to report that so far, my life has not been a waste.  This'll probably get me a job someday.

Ahhh xanga.  Yes, that's right, I'm still alive.  This semester was really hard for me.  I had no time to update in here, and I was barely able to check it.  So a lot just happened recently.  I just finished the semester, going into finals thought everything was going to be really easy and the stress levels would go down.  Well, that's what you'd think.  Apparently since I'd been so stressed this semester I'd been quite irritable and reasoably so.  I didn't have a chance for any privacy with our living setup, and I had no time to go play soccer or anything to relieve stress, and the assignments just kept piling on.  Couple that with the fact that my dad still expects me to get the same grades I've always had and the stress levels go through the roof.  So my friends out here decided to take actions.  I suppose you're probably thinking that they all sat me down and talked to me about it, and said "Steve, you're too stressed, it's kinda affecting us."  No, they just let me think everything was alright and then the day before finals start I find out that they'd all met at someone elses place and decided that I should not be in the house.  They ended up changing their minds when they went to tell me but I must say that this hurts quite a bit.  The people out here who I see everyday apparently think just enough about me to all get together and decide to completely screw me over.  If they'd went through with it I would've had to spend finals week trying to find a new place to live, trying to convince my parents to pay for my own apt. when they also have to pay for my sister's school next year, or room with incoming freshmen.  So, you can imagine that I didn't sleep at all last night, and screwed up on both of my finals today.  Then I had to spend most of today sleeping instead of studying like I'd planned.  Then on top of that I keep hearing different stories about what happened.  I've heard like 5 so far.  It's completely ridiculous.  I just can't believe that a group of people are that willing to completely screw over someone they call a friend.  It amazes me on so many levels.  They've been apologizing, and they got me a pizza today, but it's like putting a bandage over a wound.  The wound takes a lot of time to heal, the bandage just makes sure it doesn't get infected and get worse.  So, I apologize wholeheartedly to everyone who I haven't had time to keep in contact with this semester.  I really should've been.  Well, here's hoping I can get to sleep tonight.  I'm hoping my sleep scedule isn't fucked up from the nap today.

As far as good news goes things are going very well with my girlfriend Krista.  She's a really nice girl, so I'm pretty lucky.  Also, her parents bought tickets for the Indians vs Mariners game on May 5th so I'm really excited about that.

Well, it's been about a month since I last updated, so let's see what there is to tell.

First of all I finished the semester.  I pulled my GPA back up to about a 3.22 so that's quite a relief.  Especially since after midterms I was in danger of failing a few classes.  That's what happens when some of your midterms are math tests, but you went ahead and studied the class notes and not your notes from last year's math class.  Oops, but it turned out fine.

This lead to a very enjoyable break.  I got to see a bunch of people, went back to work, and played a lot of Mario Kart DS.  I also went to Denny's a lot, and won $21 in poker.  It was tits.  Oh, and Suglio called, we finally had that discussion about Red Eye.  I now understand the movie...  it sucked.

I guess the most important thing to mention is that I actually have a girlfriend now.  Her name is Krista, she lives about an hour away from me.  She goes to beauty school, and is a really nice/honest girl.  Can't ask for much more, right?  Fortunately she's cute too, but that's a different story.  Also, her mom gave me some coupons to Denny's when I met her family yesterday, so that was cool.  Any questions?

So I think I might have an interesting story to tell in a few days.  Assignments are almost done so that means I'd have some time to make a real post.  Inquire within for details :)  Hopefully I'll be able to delete this post though...  I think I have enough interesting stories in my life.
